I started Black Market Photography to provide affordable, artistic photography to the creative community of Chicago. My portraits are shot using natural light which gives me more artistic freedom, allows my costs to stay lower, and is quite flattering for portraits.

I take the time to get to know my subjects and really try to find a person's essence, not just their best angle. To capture the beauty of a person takes a certain personality and a lot of patience.
I love people and I think it shows in my work.
